For the price, the portion is really decent with stuffed beancurd, beancurd skin, fish cake, fish dumpling and meatball. You can choose to have it together with noodle or rice.

Back here for the handmade fishball and I really like the al-dente-ness of the Mee Pok. Love the old school vibes here too and will be back for the QQ fishball again.

_
The dry version of Mee Sua is al dente, springy & does not stick together even though it was not stirred for a while.
_
P3: Huge bowl of fishballs, meatballs, fish dumplings.
Found out that the saltiness of the fishballs depends on how long the fishballs were soaked in clear water before cooking. The longer and more times the water is changed, the less salty the fishballs will be.
_
P4: Compliments from Ah Hua.
红油抄手 Dumplings with chilli and vinegar.
Very addictive though the chilli is not overly spicy.
Adore the vinegary dumplings.
_
Thanks @ahhuateochewnoodle for the dumplings and Jean for the coffee.

My all time favourite is Plain Rice Noodle or Kway Teow 白 with just soy and oil.
Just CCF, I adore the velvety texture of the KT without the spiciness from the chilli.
_
Was introduced to plain meepok by Jane (3rd Gen owner) from @ahhuateochewnoodle, which turns out to be equally good.
There is no alkaline or “kee” aftertaste associated with any yellow noodles.
Very flavourful and was told there is a secret ingredient added to the pork lard, which makes Ah Hua’s lard different from others.
_
P2: Close up of the handmade fishball which is springy in texture; the flavourful handmade meatball; the evergreen handmade Fish Dumpling with a flavourful salty texture.
_
P3-4: Complimentary from Ah Hua.
Her Chiok (Fish Fillet) is actually another version of the Veggie Rolls but this is without any ingredients.
Veggie Roll has celery and carrot rolled between the fish fillets.
For those who dislike celery, this is the non veggie version.
Slightly saltier than fish dumpling to bring out the fish flavour, the fish fillet is equally good in texture on the palate.
Limited stock, made only for regulars and advanced orders only.
_
All fish produces are handmade by Ah Hua, starting the day as early as 3-4am till past midnight when there are large orders for his fishballs, meatballs, fish dumplings & veggie rolls.
By the way, Ah Hua used to run his fishball manufacturing facilities.
_
Go visit @ahhuateochewnoodle and find out Jane’s (3rd Gen) passion, love & inspirations behind Ah Hua’s stories.
_
Will be back to try their mee sua, dumplings in lard and their YTF.

Fishball & mee pok was soft and easy to eat. Had mine with a little chilli and the whole bowl came together well and was very light on the palate. Nothing fancy but a solid bowl for a good morning breakfast. Will be back to explore more of this sleepy neighbourhood.

PS Pandan Gardens is not exactly Jurong but so near so Jurong Territory also okay! Lol

Fishball noodles.
