Got the stir fried pork and the kimchi stew. The taste was good (not like amazing) but LOVED the ambience and i could just chill and chat with my friend :) they sell alcohol too - we got makgeolli that I really enjoyed too. The price is reasonable too

This quantity was a little too much for us (2 girls who don't eat a lot hehe)

Ahtti is a little Korean bistro in an office building in Jurong East. It specializes in everyone's favourite Korean Fried Chicken.

Ahtti's KFC comes in several flavours: original, yangnyeom, ganjang, chilli padi and honey butter. Ahtti also serves stews such as a hearty soondubu-jjigae.

I had the original and ganjang flavours. Fans of chicken skin (like me) will love that Ahtti's golden brown batter is shattering crispy and retains its crunchy texture even after awhile. The ganjang sauce was sweet and savoury but not overwhelmingly so.

Ahtti's kinda out of the way but worth the extra mile for good crispy fried chicken!

Apart from their stellar Korean fried chicken, Ahtti’s Seafood Pancake ($14) is a must-order. Fried to utter perfection, the dish was served piping hot and not greasy at all. Chock-full of vegetables and seafood, the pancake’s ultra-crisp edges were so satisfying. I also love the fact that it was of a slightly thinner variant thus it wasn’t too doughy or cloying and retained its crunch. The shrimps and chunks of squid were fresh tasting and provided a nice chew too.

Hidden Gem in the West?

Calling Westies that loves Korean Fried Chicken!
I wanna thank my best friend for always discovering hidden gems and sharing them with me ☺️

I absolutely love this chill place, their fried chicken were fried to crispy goodness with burst of flavour in each bite. My go to order is the Boneless Chicken — Ganjang flavour. One day when I have enough courage to try the Chilli Padi, I will update you all.

My other must order when I go is Kimchi Pancake. No word to describe, it’s just a must. If nobody wants to share with me then I will have that by myself.

I tried Zzolmyeon (not in picture) for the first time and it was pretty good, portion was really huge.

Perfectly deep fried, not overly greasy and they even give you pickled radish cubes so that it doesn’t get too surfeited. Between the original and spicy sweet yangnyeom flavour, I am for the OG of the original.

Ahtti Korean Chicken has been making its way around social media lately - for good reason too. If our Burppler's reviews are any indication, this new Korean fried chicken joint in Jurong East is worth travelling for. Burppler Xing Wei Chua says the Honey Butter Fried Chicken "was pretty memorable and quite worth making the trip." Coming in servings of either half (8pcs) or whole (16pcs), you have a choice of boneless, whole bird, or wings and drumettes. He adds that "the batter is satisfyingly crisp without being overly thick."
