First time at Vision Exchange area! Didnt know that there were so many restaurnts here!

We tried the korean food at AHTTI Korean Restaurant!

Ordered the following food items:
-Seafood Soft Tofu Soup with Rice - $15++: This was stated as mildly spicy but it turned out to be quite spicy for us, even when we do take spice quite well! Came with egg tofu, clams and a crab. Was looking for prawns in this bowl of soup but sadly there was none
-Stir Fried Squid and Pork Belly with Rice - $15++: Very nicely marinated, and came with PLENTY of sauce (which made it abit slightly salty)

They are actually famous for their fried chicken! However, we found the portions of chicken too much to be shared amongst just 2 pax as a side. So come in a big group if you want to try their fried chicken!

Their menu is also slightly cheaper for lunch time!

was on the saltier side, but pairs nicely with the side of purple rice (seriously v fluffy, one of the most amazing rice i’ve had). meat was too fatty for our liking though.

the fried chicken here always hits the spot! :) came down during lunch instead of dinner for a change, only to find out that they had different menus for lunch and dinner. didn’t manage to order the kimchi pancake that my friend was craving :(

I had throughly enjoyed the fried chicken from Ahtti Korean so decided to try more of their non-chicken dishes. I settled for seafood pancake and soy bean paste soup with seafood. Big mistake. Huge. For starters, the soy bean paste soup was a dark murky unappetising shade of brown. No doubt it was chock full of shredded carrots and leeks; white tofu, clams, mussels and did I spy some tiny bits of webfoot octopus. But the soup itself was terribly salty to the point that it would be nearly impossible to finish it. The soup came in a set with two types of kimchi, pickles and brown rice. The latter was a strange addition as it just did not seem to belong in a Korean meal. Also if I wanted to eat healthy I would order from a salad shop haha. White rice would seem to be the natural choice here. The seafood pancake was equally lacklustre. I was filled with anticipation when I opened the box and saw small parcels of golden yellow deliciousness stacked in the box. And you could see bits of leek and carrot peeking out. Alas. Looks are deceptive. The pancake tasted extremely doughy and it just seemed like I was eating a whole load of pan fried parcels of flour with each mouthful. Not a pleasant thing and definitely not what I was expecting. The pancake was also terribly tasteless. All in all, it was a very underwhelming meal. I would definitely say stick to their chicken.

Ganjang Boneless Whole Chicken ($34)

Crisp, crunchy, moist and utterly flavourful, their Ganjang Boneless Whole Chicken ($34) was really toothsome and morish. Perfect for my K-drama marathons, each chunk was also bursting with the natural flavour of chicken and great with the lick of savoury-sweetness from the coating of soy! The glaze was slightly sticky but well-balanced while the batter was not greasy, tasted light even with the sauce It retained its crunchiness hours later. I can once again say "West side best side"!

Got the stir fried pork and the kimchi stew. The taste was good (not like amazing) but LOVED the ambience and i could just chill and chat with my friend :) they sell alcohol too - we got makgeolli that I really enjoyed too. The price is reasonable too

This quantity was a little too much for us (2 girls who don't eat a lot hehe)
