Amazing food!
Before this, had some sort of dip with bread, really enjoyed the refreshing dips and the bread was light and fluffy!
Moving on to the food shown in the pic, the sausage was very flavourful, did not try the lamb rack but the chicken was so good! Had a slight kick of spice and was so tender and juicy. The salad was was very refreshing and the butter rice was so good!
For dessert, we had baklava and kunefe. The baklava was a bit sweet but had a nice crunch and was really nice. My first time trying kunefe and I loved it! It was crisp and cheesy and it was so delicious!

Turkish coffee.

It’s like espresso but their version.

It is as mini as portrayed in the picture 🙈

Meat platter serves 3-4 pax
If you ever wanna try Turkish food and can’t decide what to eat, order this.

Their lamb was the most satisfying and deserves a limelight on its own.

The chicken was unbelievably juicy and barbecued till it’s crispy but not dry, while their beef was okay.

Butter rice was good too. Not used to their ‘salad’ tho cause it was drenched in this vinegar like stuff. Ewww.

When we first ordered we thought it was only a single serving (means like 1 pc).

But then when it came, it was this size of a mini pizza sliced into 6 slices leh!

Omg so satisfying!

Worth a try (and the money)! Ha.

The chicken was tender with a good char, but a prominent gamey flavour was present in the beef/lamb koftas, which were dry. Their Butter rice didn’t have much butter flavour, and the accompanying brown sauce didn’t taste of anything much either. Bring a rabbit (or vegetarian friend) along to help finish the mountain of iceberg lettuce which filled half the plate, because I left mine untouched.

This time round, I opted for the Tavuk Sis ($21), which was a sure-win home run the moment I see what it comes with. Tender and huge chunks of chicken that has been marinated in a secret spice mix before being grilled on a skewer, served with a portion of butter rice that you wish you had hit the gym before the meal so that you can fully enjoy it without the guilt. The accompanying brown gravy is so addictive that you will want to dip everything and anything in it. The vegetables on the other hand, are nothing to shout about and just a mere passenger in this entire experience as the real star is the chicken, followed closely by the butter rice. No wonder they were awarded the 2016 Michelin Bib Gourmand, a well-deserved accolade indeed.
