From the Burpple community

The environment during this period is really got the Christmas vibe! The staffs there are really friendly, brought us to our table and intro to us about the burpple offer.

The chicken burger and salmon rice bowl is really generous and delicious. We can’t finish our food, which is quite wasteful. I really like the salmon rice bowl a lot. For the chicken burger, the fries are a little bit too salty for me.

I order mojito too, it’s nice too but just an ordinary mojito.

Overall I enjoyed my time there and would go back again.

🍴& πŸ’΅:
Double cheese burger ($25) - EVERYTHING WAS JUST SO SALTY! The fries were salty! The patties were salty! Felt so cheated because it looks so juicy when it came. But end up the patties were dry and tough...

The only nice thing about this entire meal is the bun. It’s super fluffy and soft! The fries were actually not bad but really too salty for me to enjoy it. And although it looks saucey, the saltiness totally cover the taste of everything. Felt like not enough cheese taste too. Okay but it’s super filling because of the double patties and lots of fries.

My friend’s chicken burger and fries weren’t so salty though. I guess still worth a visit if you order other food.

Have heard about their yummy poke bowls and decided to give it a try with the 1-1 @burpple discount. A decent bowl of lightly flavoured salmon, paired with tasty and colourful array of ingredients. The fish itself was fresh but not the best cuts, being a tad mushy and stringy. The pearl rice was firmer than usual sushi rice, with textural contrast from tempura crisp and juicy pops from tobiko. Enjoyed the refreshing sour tang from the lime avocado but wished for more than the current meagre portion.

At full price, definitely find the portion to be on the smaller side and not worth the value if compared to other poke chains.

⚠️ Not sure if it’s always inconsistent but we went at 12.30 (their opening is 12) and was told that only one staff makes poke and the poke bowl won’t be ready until after she comes 45+ mins later. Was recommended to order something else but decided to return after 1.30pm. Had another close to 30 mins wait for the food which seems pretty unreasonable. Might be worth ringing them up first to check if poke is available before heading down.
