Alter Ego (Esplanade Mall)

still found it pricy for the standards, 6/10 at best

Consisting of marinated grilled chicken, lamb cutlets, sliced beef, fried chicken wings, corn on cob and a huge heap of curly fries, Alter Ego's grilled meat platter is generous enough to feed 4 or more!

As with the seafood grilled platter, the meat platter is kinda hit and miss. The lamb was (unsurprisingly) meeeeh. The chicken was fairly decent. I was kinda worried about the beef which was slightly thin but turned out to be the best amongst all.

Alter Ego is IMHO a great place for big groups. The food is decent and they have a couple of large long tables. I do suggest though that they try to downsize the menu to make it more manageable and easier for quality control.

Can really taste the aroma of the house pour white wine mix with strawberry, peach, lime juice, orange

What I tried
Chicken Barbecue Pizza.
BBQ sauce topped with mozzarella cheese, capsicum, mushrooms, chicken and parmesan cheese.
Pizza base is nice with a crispy chewy texture and the toppings so generous with a pronounced flavour.

What I tried

Seafood Pasta.
Spaghetti pasta with squid ring, king prawns, tossed in their homemade marinara sauce, topped with shave parmesan chopped parsley.
Loving the pasta is al dente and the prawns and squids are fresh and of a good size. Chefs kiss.

What I tried
Mix Grilled Seafood + Meat.
A plethora of mix marinated grilled salmon fillet, fish fillet, green mussels, chicken fillet, lamb cutlets, beef slices, corn on cab, cherry tomato, lemon wedge with five kinds of sauce serve with SALAD.
Totally a pleasantly pleasure platter to share and indulge on.
