This is not even the most unexpected inspiration for a cocktail on the Thai side of things - expect high-concept tipples such as Tom Yum (?!), Pineapple Fried Rice (?!?) and Green Curry (?!?!) cocktails which never compromise the craft cocktail factor even as they bring the imbiber to outlandish places.

You take a sip of the oily sesame-fragrant cocktail “soup”, and then you immediately take a bite of the accompanying chicken. The proximity of experience to the real deal is bafflingly uncanny.

@amrith_bsh located within the compound of Song of India, has the lush greenery and atmosphere reminiscent of its older (but defunct) next door neighbour. It hold its own with its exciting menu featuring cocktails with local flavours and an inspired liturgy of concoctions from around the world. Congrats guys!

The Negroni uses Thai tea leaf-infused vermouth and dark rum instead of gin, and should please both Siam fetishists and "Got Milk?" model wannabes.
