When in ICC Pudu, follow the crowd to Ann's Nasi Lemak. They're queuing for the popular Curry Pork Skin Rice (RM6) that sees generous amounts of chewy pork skin on coconut rice, sweet onion sambal and more. The curry is not at all spicy, but rather, rich, sweet and creamy. They also have Curry Pork Rice (RM7.50), Shrimp and Minced Pork Fried Petai Rice (RM8) and Fried Drumstick Rice (RM9) to boot. Come early on weekends as they tend to sell out by noon.

Come at 10am and there’s already a line of people waiting for this glorious pork nasi lemak. The creamy and spicy signature pork curry coats tender slices of pork – I should have asked for more – and with the fragrant coconut rice, man this meal is heavenly. What I really enjoyed is the fragrant onion sambal, but what the crowd comes for is the springy and flavourful pork skin curry.

The rice is a balanced fluffy texture with the light aromatics of coconut. 🥥 Paired with a freshly fried (really large) chicken leg, and doused with curry from the chicken curry’s, every mouthful was a satisfying crunch of crispy chicken skin, warm tender drumstick meat and delectable curry with against a plainer background of boiled egg and “lemak” rice.

A slightly sweltering but loud and vibrant breakfast amid the bustling ICC Pudu food centre. The former Imbi market food stalls are now housed here, and think of these as your SG’s 3 food centres fused into one. Our 2nd morning back here and we have barely tried 1/6 of the stalls here despite ordering different dishes.🙊🙊🙊 #iccpudu #food #breakfast #burpplekl #annnasilemak #herpenandfork #sgblogger #sgfoodie #8dayseat #burpple #vscofood #openricesg #cafehoppingsg #instafood #instafood_sg #onthetable #stfoodtrending
