Such a cosy little place for amazing ice cream. The eyes eat first to whet your appetite before you finally dig in. Take lots of pictures!

Waffles came in 2 flavors - original and charcoal
Waffles was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside

Opted for 4 different flavours of ice cream, with 2 of it being premium so there’s a $0.70 extra charge.

Lavender - too floral for my liking.

Black sesame - very rich and it felt similar to a black sesame tang yuan. Recommended 👍🏻

Green tea - green tea used was from havela. Rich, slightly bitter and creamy. Yums

Blue milk - a combi of blue pea, milk and sea salt. Sounds strange but the ingredients came well together surprisingly

The charcoal waffle ($6.50) was crispy though it didn’t have much flavour of its own. The green tea ice cream was thick and had a rich matcha flavour. The black sesame ice cream was nutty in flavour and very fragrant too. A double scoop costs $7.50. The ice cream here’s all smooth in texture as well.

The waffle ($5.50) was crispy and the apiary honey ice cream was light in flavour, complemented by the dark chocolate ice cream ($7.50 for 2 scoops) and the chocolate sauce!

With unique ice cream flavours such as the savoury sweet blue milk made with blue pea flower, milk and sea salt. #happybelly #fatdieme #burpple (S$10 for triple scoop)

If you are like me and have a thing for orange zest, this new flavour developed by owner Travis Goh and his team is something you need to try.

Inspired by his recent trip to Melbourne, it tastes like beams of sunshine in a cup. Naturally like the rest of the well thought-out creations at this popular ice-cream joint, it isn’t one-dimensional nor too sweet - definitely not with those tiny crunchy bits of almond and dark chocolate chip frolicking in the bright bed of zested orange ice-cream.

This is a flavour you’ll want to enjoy at a leisurely pace. And even if you happen to be feeling very full after a meal (like I was when I walked into Apiary that night), the refreshing note allows you to savour it really comfortably.
