We had high hopes for this side, only to be disappointed. Served in a hot frying pan, the thick wide cuts of steak fries were supposedly embellished with cheese, gravy and truffle emulsion. However, the steak fries were firstly unevenly coated with cheese; those at the bottom were just plain without any coating, hence resulting in simply dry thick cut potatoes. They could really do better with way more cheese and gravy. Next, there’s neither any aroma nor taste of truffle at all, even if it’s just a truffle emulsion stated on the menu. Definitely not worth trying, it’s nothing but plain carbs overload.

Beautiful hill top scenic dining venue that oversees the Mount Faber and harborfront areas. However, if you aren’t driving, this place could be rather inaccessible.

I chose one of the chef’s recommendations, Pineapple-glazed Pork Ribs. Portion was huge, with about 5 slabs of pork ribs that could be easily torn off the bones and served alongside salad, achar and sweet potato fries. But there wasn’t any taste of the pineapple glaze at all; in fact it just tasted like hickory barbecue sauce. And the dipping sauce was diluted, with just a hint of savoriness. Probably wouldn’t return as the food here is pretty pricey.

Pricey dishes. Fish and chips tasted frozen, soup tasted canned and chicken tasted like rotisserie ones you can get from supermarkets. Service is ok but they didn’t realise it was raining and we had to bring our own dishes into the sheltered area.

Laksa was rich and tasty. Fish & chips was average (kind of like the fish fillets at ntuc that i can throw in the toaster to bake.. haha). Great place for the views though! Came on a weekday and it was very nice to chill at

Awesome view at the restaurant, but food was a hit and miss.

Highlight out of 3 dishes ordered was the Chilli Crab Potato Skins - chilli crab paired really well with the potato. Also ordered the Fisherman’s Stew which was flavourful, and Steak Au Poivre which felt over-cooked and hard.

We got a table on the side where we can take in a birds eye view of Sentosa and the sea.

Food was unfortunately pretty average over here and the only dish that was surprisingly tastier for us was the pasta. Even though it came looking like speghetti drenched in soup sauce. The sauce turned out light and not overly creamy.

Salad was passable as a canteen style salad and the pork ribs were not as tender as we’ve hoped for.
