Artichoke

Deviant Middle Eastern food. Not the kind of thing you'll ever get in the Middle East itself. We love doing things differently, and hate conforming to so-called 'norms'. Communal plates, cool music, chummy service, no pretentious bullshit, nuff said.

We had dinner for 3 persons and the cost came up to around $68 per pax for an a la carte dinner. Perhaps the chef menu would have been more worth it? We also had the baba ganoush, halloumi, cuttlefish and chicken kebabs. These were decent. However, the fried Cauliflower was pretty overfried and most of it tasted rather burnt.

Packed with flavours and textures, truly the stand-out dish at Artichoke 🤪 Best shared between 2-3 people!

This dessert has been on the menu ever since I started dining at @artichoke_sg years back, and there’s a reason it’s still there. Not to be confused with a sticky date pudding, the combination of the sweet and the salty, the crunch and the wobbly, the liquid and the solids, the textural experience, combined with the contrasting yet complimentary flavors gives this dessert great depth. I ALWAYS order this after my meal there. You should too. #burpple #artichokesg

"No pretentious bullshit" is the headliner at this act, and the experience speaks for itself. Expect cool music, chummy service and communal plates great for sharing with your date — think fall-off-the-bone twice-cooked Lamb Shoulder ($42) and their range of smoky Neopolitan-style pizzas. Chocolate lovers, don't leave without getting the decadent Chocolate Salty Pie ($6).

Fried Cauliflower served with rocket, almond and muhammara. This one was simple but all kinds of yums! The tangy yogurt sauce went really well with the greens and roasted Cauliflower, you need to get a little health in.

Hummus Msabbaha

Burnt miso hummus immersed with tahini. Dipping it with warm Turkish Bread ($4.50++) made each bite so irresistible.
