Tarta de Queso 'La Viña' ($16)
Basically Burnt cheesecake served with Quince Icecream - which I learnt it's another family of pear. Icecream was the star here - there's this light honey sweetness/ fragrance in the icecream, but cheesecake flavour was kinda mild though, would really love a much stronger cheesecake flavour.
Overall hits and misses, but I'd reco those with stars 🌟!
Chocolate 'Snickers' ($15)
Frangelico | Peanut Praline | 70% chocolate
Tbh doesn't really remind of snickers, but it's prob just a Chocolate dessert with nuts. Caramel flavour & the viscosity could stand out a lot more if it were to imitate snickers, but nice crunch from the biscuits overall.
🌟 Smoked mash ($12)
Really creamy with a strong smokey flavour! Loved this so much! Definitely a side worth ordering.
Coochinillo ($98 for ¼)
Roasted Spanish Suckling Pig. Skin could definitely be crispier, and the meat kinda reminded us of duck. Personally felt it's not a dish that amazes.
🌟 Anchoas ($9 / 2 pcs)
Basically anchovies on toast.
This is a must-try if you are here! It was really good, and it's surprisingly not fishy at all! Although really salty, this was pretty buttery and there's a good smokey flavour too!
Pulpo ($34)
Char-grilled octopus with roasted sweet potato, and olive emulsion at the side. Octopus was just slightly tough and chewy, but I liked the smokey flavour of the octopus! Pairs well with the sweet potato mash that has olives embedded within - surprisingly I enjoyed this addition.
Other than texture, flavour is actually done pretty well.
