Finally back at Atlas and glad that there wasn’t a long queue ahead of us. I had the summer chicken stew which was a huge chicken thigh that was slow cooked in a sundried tomato, herbed cream sauce. But this was closer to a Chinese type of soup that was thin, smooth and easy on the palate than a usual western type of soup that is thick. It also came with huge chunks of potatoes and carrots to make a filling meal on its own. The sourdough that came with it was also able to soak up the essence of the soup well. However, we found that the dishes here seem to be a tad too salty for our liking, maybe the speed at which dishes have to be churned out played a part in that.

Beat the queue by dining here on a weekday morning. Ordered the pancake and the mushroom with egg. I prefer the pancake as compared to the other dish. The mushroom taste was too strong for my liking... though I don’t dislike mushroom. Coffee was good too.

Brunch situation at Atlas | not too bad for brunch date but can be too jelat after eating half; best shared with someone 🤗

Only when you’re older do you understand what simple pleasure sipping an Ice Tea Macchiato by the window, while people watching can give you. ⁣

Added scrambled eggs to the dish for $3 more and boy was it well worth it! 😍 they were also very generous with the mushrooms equivocally across other dishes as well! Sauce was fantastic and sourdough bread soaked it up very well 😋 highly recommend this dish. Having this for the second time and it doesn’t fail to disappoint.

Oh look at the resplendent thick golden brown pancake stack that spent a good 20 minutes sitting in the oven (as the cafe personnel educated us). Emblazoned by classic ingredients of berries compote or the more indulgent version of butterscotch bananas, vanilla ice cream; both were excellent examples of good brunch pancakes.
Definitely a signature here at Atlas, that keeps the crowd coming back for more (as I observe while waiting for our table given it was a P.H.).
