As an aside from the pizzazz of the new Hendricks' Orbium, this was part of what made them the world's #8 best bar. I generally don't expect strong gin cocktails, but this hit the spot. The sweet vermouth blended immaculately with the London Dry, whilst traces of the coffee, cacao and mint waltzed beautifully in the background.

Enthralled by the complexity bestowed by quinine (a component in tonic water), wormwood and blue lotus blossom. The usual bright floral notes of gin, but with a touch of earthiness followed by satisfying bitterness in the finish.
Also loved the use of it in the Bon Voyage — appreciated the slight herbal twist that harmonised with the Orbium's own bitterness.

Aromatic aged grappa, Italian bittersweet liqueur, Cherry, chocolate. Yummy cocktail but the best part is the ambience, the bar is HUGEEE not kidding at all!! All in all has lotsa The Great Gatsby vibes w Super high ceilings. Feels like ur transported to 1920s Europe

Frankly everything was so so for the high tea but the ambience of Atlas is great. It's really for a bunch of girls to sit down and chit chat the afternoon away..

Fish of the day was snapper, which I found to be too tough? The steak was much better, well-seasoned and cooked. Fries were bad. But food standard was pretty okay for a bar. Cocktails were good!! That’s all that matters isn’t it? 🍸

Throwback to 11 May when we finally made it to Atlas after making a reservation one month in advance (yes u heard right). The place is really too pretty to resist. P had the Palace of Nations (speyside single malt whiskey, cognac, banana liquer, sweet port) while I had the Invisible Gin (Hendricks’ Gin, ginger, pineapple, lemon, gentian, burlesque bitters, sofa), which was created for the Cocktail Fest. I preferred his drink actually, as mine felt a little too gingery. The truffle pasta and octopus were not bad, but a little pricey, and I guess for Italian and Spanish food, they are better speciality restaurants out there. The ambience is unbeatable though. Definitely no regrets going (but will remember to charge my camera before going next time; iPhone’s Low light photography ability is really terrible).
