Finally had a chance to try Authentic Mun Chee Kee King of Pig's Organ Soup! The Pig Organ Soup ($7 for large) is light but flavourful, and it does not have a strong porky aftertaste. It comes with a generous serving of pork slices, liver, stomach, meatballs, tofu and salted vegetables. I like that the pork is soft and the liver is not overcooked - pretty good!

We also ordered Vinegar Pork Trotter ($8) and Braised Big Intestines ($8). The big intestines are cleaned thoroughly and very tender, but some might find it too fatty. The sauce of the pork trotter is on the lighter side, but the sweet and sour notes are still on point. There is also a good mix of fats and meat.

The Claypot Luo Han Zai ($5.50) is quite underwhelming - the flavour of the fermented beancurd didn’t really come through. The Speciality Preserved Vegetables ($3.20) is surprisingly sweet, which helps to balance out the savouriness of the other dishes.

Lastly, I thought it is quite special that they also offer Braised Pork Rice ($3) besides normal white rice. The chopped braised pork belly is soft and tasty.

Overall, this is a pretty decent pig organ soup place where you can have homely dishes without feeling jelak at the end of the meal - glad to try this!

It takes lots of courage and affirmation to be able to crown yourself as the king of pig’s organ soup from Authentic Mun Chee Kee. The soup here is of a lighter and “cleaner” version without the strong porky flavour with a touch of tanginess from the salted vegetables. The meatballs are nothing out of this world as they are the generic ones produced from a factory but the pork slices deserved a round of applause for its tenderness.

Its less crowded here as compared to their competitor with a similar name that us located up north-east to where Authentic Mun Chee Kee is.

Having tried both, I would say both are excellent soups, so just eat both, whichever convenient, don't have to be loyal just for the sake of it.

Soup was tasty and the pork organs were fresh and was cooked just right, not hard whosoever.

Authentic MCK offers braised pork rice for $2.80, which is quite good actually.

Great place for a meal on a cold rainy day.

I was very pleasantly surprised as the broth of this famous pig organ soup ($4.50) is nothing I've tried, as it is sweet and herbally, as compared the usual savoury broth that is deprived from salted preserved vegetables. The ingredients in this bowl is fresh and generous too! The chilli is so addictive too, as it not only has a kick, it's savoury style really complemented the ingredients and soup! Should have gotten the bigger bowl 🤣

This is by far the next Vinegar Pork Trotter I’ve had in Sg (compared to other stalls). It’s so good, I ordered a 2nd bowl! 😄 And the claypot pork liver is pretty good too. I’d say this is a value-for-money to dine 👍

Returned to try both their braised and vinegar pork Trotter. Generous serving of meat, plus an egg each.

It’s very value-for-money!
