This dish includes a whole avocado, so approach with caution (i.e. an empty stomach)! Poached eggs sit atop slices of chicken ham, balanced on top of avocado halves. The overall taste was good, but there were a couple areas to be improved. Namely, the bread wasn’t quite toasted enough and the hollandaise sauce could’ve been thicker so as to coat the eggs nicely.

Spaghetti, tossed in an avocado sauce and served with prawns, squid and cherry tomatoes. While it could’ve used a smidge more salt, the taste of the avocado in the sauce was fresh and light. I felt the portion could’ve been bigger considering the price, but overall a dish well done.

You can’t leave without having an avocado smoothie. This is the lighter avo smoothie pairing on the menu compared to the Avo & Banana and Avo & Choco. I would imagine it to be a bit bland without the honey, so it’s a good thing you’ll taste a lot of that.

Avocado pasta sounded strange but the kitchen executed this dish really well. It’s made with an avocado basil sauce; lush, fragrant and thick enough to coat the spaghetti. It comes with fresh prawns, squid rings and sweet cherry tomatoes. I felt it was a little under-seasoned but nothing a pinch of salt can’t fix.

There’s a new avocado cafe in Hartamas, and EVERYTHING on the menu features the healthy fruit. Eggs and avo are done well here, as seen in this dish. Tucked beneath the perfectly poached eggs are two halves of a nice and ripe avocado in place of the typical English muffin. I appreciate that they don’t over-season the avocados, and focus on the other elements on the plate like the rice and creamy hollandaise sauce.
