A&W (AMK Hub)

chicken coney hot dog ($8.90) (a bit spicy for curry sauce)

Have it eaten A&W ever since it relaunch back in Singapore a years back, always long queue and felt not worth the wait.

Happen to passby AMK hub, thus the opportunity presented itself

Chicken quite small, like kampong chicken, thou the skin was crispy and tasty, chicken was soft and tender.

Can't go wrong with the root beer float. Best soft drink to combi with ice cream

You can get A&W root beer anywhere, but root beer float... Ok lah harder but can.

Growing up, a visit to Ang Mo Kio usually meant a treat at A&W's.

There's nothing better in the sweltering heat than a root beer float in a nice chilled mug with some curly fries. They seem to have watered down the drink a little but it's still super shiok!

Disappointing. I didn't like the batter. Salty like cheap chicken. I might rank this around the bottom of all fast-food chicken. One redeeming factor was how tender the breast meat was.

No one does curly fries like A&W. Yup, not even McDonald's.
