These gelato are made from Hokkaido milk that gives a smooth and creamy texture. The queue was quite long at around 8:30pm. Everyone's probably getting their awesome gelato after dinner. We ordered the usual must-get matcha flavour with milk to balance the flavours for our after meal dessert. Their sesame gelato was another favourite of mine which has a more intense flavour 》$6.50/double scoop

Offering a wide range of flavours, the Japanese ice cream here is smooth and more of the milky than rich kind. Went with the #matcharedbean and maple almond flavours. Matcha and red bean is a natural pairing while the unique maple almond was slightly sweet and nutty. Liked that their ice creams are not too sweet but would personally prefer richer flavours

I have walked passed this place umpteen times and never stop, today I made an exceptional calories indulgence. To my surprise, the ice cream were pretty darn legit. They are rich in flavors and very intense too, it’s soft but yet not too creamy. The only disappointed was the cone, it probably left there for sometime and what the local called it “Lao Hong”.

At $5.90 a cup for any two flavors, I thought this was a pretty worthy deal to get right in town for some pretty legit Hokkaido ice cream.

The matcha was the perfect balance of bitter-sweet, while the black sesame bore an intense fragrance of roasted sesame seeds. I also managed to try the Hokkaido milk flavor, which was silky smooth and boasted the aroma of creamy fresh milk which wasn’t at all sweet and left a pleasant aftertaste in the palates. Light yet lasting, oxymoronic but that’s the sorcery of their ice cream (or gelato, rather).

Be prepared for snaking queues at night and on weekends too, as these babies are stacked fresh into each cone/cup delicately with such finesse that even the wait is made much more bearable watching the staff twirl and swirl their scoopers around.

I’d definitely recommending trying out the various flavors available on that day, before deciding which two flavors to pair together in a single cup. Try to get the more ‘japanese’ flavors as they can’t be easily found elsewhere!

Available exclusively at the Central Clarke Quay outlet, the matcha softserve unfortunately pales in comparison as compared to their usual matcha gelato. On the downside, it melted rather fast too! (swipe to view my tragedy). The texture is smooth and creamy, with a characteristic subtle earthy note that could have been more distinct. The luscious milky sweetness was more prominent here, great for those who are neutral towards matcha and just trying to satisfy their sweet cravings. If you are a matchaholic, do opt for their gelato instead which comes with a more distinct earthy bitter undertone .

This Gelato Ice Cream is made from rich Hokkaido Milk. It has a soft and unique texture that makes it so creamy and light. Best part is that it is low in sugar and fat. Gotta try all the flavors 😱
