Thai Pandan Pudding (S$3)
Thai Coconut Pudding (S$5)
Could be due to the weather, the shredded coconut didn’t survive the long journey well and smell kind of weird. So didn’t add that to the coconut pudding.

🍑 Matcha Lava Mochi
πŸ“Baan Kanom Thai (@baankanomthai.sg)
πŸ“Œ Thai Supermarket in Golden Mile Complex
πŸ’° $10

More lava mochi from Baan Kanom Thai! Got the matcha lava mochi this time (check out my previous posts for the salted egg lava mochi).

The matcha taste in this is more on the sweet, floral side as compared to a rich and gao matcha flavour. I quite like the floral-ness of this, goes well with the stretchy mochi. Like the salted egg one, the mochi is really oily, but it still has the stretchiness and satisfying chewiness of mochi.

I think I prefer the salted egg one a little more but this is also a great snack for floral matcha lovers!

🍑 Salted Egg Lava Mochi
πŸ“Baan Kanom Thai (@baankanomthai.sg)

When I found out about these new lava mochis at @baankanomthai.sg I ran down to golden mile like the fat kid I am and got myself some. Salted egg lava is fabulous on its own but the addition of mochi? WOWEE

I heated this up for about 10 seconds and the lava became hella flowy and sexc af. The salted egg taste is really strong too.

The mochi is really oily though, unlike japanese mochi, this isnt coated in starch so they use oil to make it less sticky.

This is a really great snack, def worth the trip down!

Someone got this for me from Golden Mile Complex (it is within the Thai Supermarket) and they packaged this in a ventilated container with foil; the heat was hence preserved well.

These were a sticky, chewy and fragrant delight. I didn't expect myself to like them as much as I did! In fact I will probably go back for more the next time I'm close by.

Had the Tokyo Pancakes, Thai Pandan Pancakes & Coconut Pancake.

I find that Tokyo Pancake is kind of dry and was kind of disappointed

Thai Panda Pancakes is chewy and quite flavourful. However, not that amazing.

Coconut Pancake was like tapioca cake which is ok, but not that great.

Overall, nothing much and doesn't really appeal to me much
