Thought that there would be a bigger portion and even asked wait staff to verify if it’s sufficient for 2. Let’s just say I’m still hungry as I write this. Another thing to note is even though the Burpple 1 for 1 main course offer do not exclude Fridays and Saturdays, the restaurant said they do not accept the Burpple 1 for 1 offer on those 2 days. I asked them to show me where it says on the app and they just replied that they’ve informed Burpple they aren’t accepting it already. So either Burpple’s information is outdated or the restaurant isn’t honouring their word. Either way, the customer loses out. Disappointing experience from start to end.

Like most standard fish and chips, though a good thing is that the piece of fish given is larger than most portions you can find elsewhere.

A tasty beef stew where the beef pieces aren’t in chunks, but are in shredded form. The stew gets a little salty after a while, so be sure to eat it with the buns given (or the fries from the other dishes).

The pork loin was delicious and juicy (really good!), while the fries were crispy and had a nice, strong potato taste (depends whether you like that kind of taste or not). The sauce was interesting as well and complimented the pork and the fries.

Ingredients used were of quality, but standard of cooking could have been better to highlight the potency, especially the tenderloin cut and cherry tomatoes. Tenderloin was slightly underseasoned and overly raw in the middle, while the cherry tomatoes could have been sat in the iron skillet longer so that it'd be bruised more and the sweetness wld be released.

Paid ~$17 per pax.

Grab dinner and drinks at this casual restaurant in Holland Village. Expect hearty German-style dishes like the Schweineschnitzel mit Pommes und Salat (breaded pork cutlet with fries and salad, $22) and Lammkotelett mit Kartoffelbrei und Salat (Herb crusted lamb cutlet with mashed potato, $26). End off your dinner with a pint or two!
