With a slightly savoury dough and a maximum crisp when toasted, the danish is perfectly paired with its super fragrant apple filling which is surprisingly refreshing despite the sugar rush. I enjoyed how it's slightly tart to prevent it from being too surfeit, and also the bits of apple fibres which provides a nice crunchy texture. The raisins provided quite the extra burst of flavour while the peppered cinnamon elevated the danish's sweetness. π€«

Bakery brera has managed to intricately balance the different profiles of the danish which best showcases its expertise in viennoiseries! π€
Flaky outside, buttery inside, with sweet potato on top, meanwhile inside have qiu qiu mochi.
Definitely perfect combination for me, but quite pricey for one croissant π

Interesting black glutinous rice filling
At 7.30am, this was the only bread βloafβ available so I took what I could. Love the crisp bread crust but it is a real pain to slice at home!
