Bakerzinโ€™s Mixed Berry Tart ($4.80++) features fresh blueberries & strawberries, lying elegantly atop a layer of custard cream encased by a buttery tart shell. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ I really liked the crispy tart but youโ€™ve been warned that it can get quite messy as it is almost mission impossible to cut through with a fork without demolishing the rest of the crispy tart! ๐Ÿ˜‚
The savoury tart shell was lined with a thin layer of chocolate, whose sweetness was in contrast to the buttery crumbly base. ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹ While the slight tangy strawberries & juicy blueberries complemented the sweet creamy custard, we found the dessert to still be too sweet on a whole. However, this is coming from us who drinks teh-o kosong or soybean with 0% sugar, so the sweetness level could actually be just nice for the masses. ๐Ÿคฃ

Personally found the tomato to be overwhelming as I am not a fan of tomato. The chicken was well fried with cereal a D tender on the inside.

* Beetroot Gula Melaka Mooncake: A sweet-savoury interplay of fragrant gula melaka and Bakerzinโ€™s signature egg yolk blend, and a beautiful deep-red beetroot skin.
* Osmanthus Mooncake: light, floral scent of the natural osmanthus with the indulgent lotus paste.
* Charcoal Tangerine Red Bean Mooncake: A homely and heart-warming dessert, the flavours of the red bean soup are re-imagined as mooncake paste, with tangerine bits for some zest.
* Pandan Mooncake: A local favourite with the natural fragrance of the pandan mooncake.

Nuts for Bakerzin's Pistachio Madness ($8) - a rich pistachio mousse cake with a wafer-like crust adorned with a creamy quenelle of handmade pistachio ice cream, dollops of chocolate cream and surprise layer of tangy raspberry coulis.


Featured are 7 desserts curated by award winning Chef Alex Yen, who most recently clinched the Gold Award for both Pastry and Pastry Art categories at the Food and Hospitality Expo 2018.
The desserts are:
* Signature Warm Chocolate Cake ($9);
* Miss Berry Ruby ($8);
* Berry Crumble ($9);
* Pistachio Madness ($8);
* French Waffles ($12);
* Lychee Mousse Cake ($11);
* Chocolate Souffle ($9).
Usually we are unanimous in our favourites, but this time we each have our own - lychee mousse, pistachio madness, berry crumble, french waffles are among those voted as favorites.
Mine is the Lychee Rose Cake, which was soft as clouds with a light refreshing lychee scent.


Bakerzin has unveil a line up of plated desserts for 2018! Seven new desserts including Berry Crumble, which was my favourite of the lot.

Crumbly berry tart with sweet strawberry filling, it is accentuated by a nutty note as almonds bits are used. Pair with fresh Chantily cream, fresh berries and dark chocolate swirls, the tangy dessert was a refreshing item.
