The King's bread has turned the ordinary homemade healthy grains bread from simple to savoury with chicken sausage, cheddar cheese, tomatoes and chilli padi. The soft and moist bread bite with addictive cheddar cheese and savoury chicken sausage, not forgetting the cheesy crusted top. The chilli padi gives a spicy sensation this Christmas; great for chilli lovers. .

Bakerzin has launched its new menu at 18 Tai Seng. You can expect dishes like Wild Forest Mushroom Soup, Pearl Barley Salad, Coffee Pulled Pork Burger, Chiczella, Warm Chocolate Cake. My pick would be Chiczella. Southern-style deep fried tender chicken thigh meat, pulse the cornflakes into panko-like. It is crispy and crunchy on the outside due to the cornflakes crust. Topped with melted mozzarella cheese, it would be even better if there's more cheese. Delicious french fries with skin on for extra flavour and refreshing Asian cucumber salad.

Apart from their newest outlet, they are launching a new menu that will be rolled out island wide.
One of the items would be the DIY Pasta ($6.80) where you get a choice of pasta (Linguine, Penne or Spaghetti) & a choice of style / sauce (Aglio Olio, Arrabiata, Carbonara, Homemade Cream Laksa, Marinara or Pesto). Top up another $4 from a variety of meaty & seafood toppings, or $2.80 for vegetarian options.
We had the Coffee Pulled Pork on Homemade Cream Laksa Spaghetti ($10.80), which sounds pretty exquisite & unique!
The Laksa cream was just right, with strong coconut & haebi (fried shrimp) flavors, without being too overpowering while the coffee pulled pork was tender yet held the coffee flavors together pretty well. With locally sourced beans, it tasted like kopi gao pulled pork, which may or may not suit everyone's palate, but it was a plus for me!
This was a hosted tasting & thank you @bakerzin.sg for hosting us! •
