Tried the Spring Blossoms 花开富贵 menu ($58/pax, for 6-8pax) at @baliTHAI.singapore & quite enjoyed it! Festive dishes include:
.
🔹️Prosperity Thai Yu Sheng! 😍 Liked the tangy dressing that is infused with fragrance herbs, as well as the crunchy green mango 🥭 & cashew nuts! 🥜  Choose between a topping of crispy fish skin or fresh prawns! 😉
.
🔹️Clear Tom Yum Seafood Soup or Fish Maw & Crab Meat with Golden Mushroom Soup! 🥣 I preferred the latter which reminds me more of CNY! 🧧
.
🔹️Steamed Seabass with Supreme Thai Herb or Crispy Seabass with Superior Soya Sauce! 🐟 Cuz fish is a must at CNY dinners! ✔
.
🔹️King Prawns with Cereal! 🦐 Really can't go wrong with this aromatic classic! 💗
.
🔹️Hokkaido Squid 🦑 (stuffed with chicken & water chestnut, topped with ginger flower & lemongrass sauce) or Grilled Wagyu Beef 🥩 (black pepper with curry leaf sauce)! I enjoyed both 👍🏻 but if I could only choose 1, the latter would be my bias! 😋
.
🔹️Braised Crispy Noodles! 🍜 A very comforting zichar-tasting dish, break the crispy noodles & stir it with the generous ingredients for a hearty eat! 💯
.
🔹️Thai Tapioca with Coconut Cream 🥥 - a sweet end to the meal!
.
Dine-in CNY Set Menus will be available from 28 Jan to 26 Feb 2021! 😊

Feeling a craving the other day for fried rice, I was at Bali Thai to have their Nasi Goreng Istimewa (S$15.50) for dinner. The fried rice dish also included two sticks of Satay, a stuffed winglet, a fried egg, and some Keropok and condiments by the side.

The dish did promise quite a well-rounded variety of items, thus making it a bit more special than conventional Nasi Goreng. Unfortunately, the taste of the fried rice was just not “power” enough to make this worth coming back for. If that was how it was even without the chilli padi added into the fried rice during the cooking process, it could have also been the case when the spice was thrown in.

Ordered this for a filling lunch. Loved the explosion of simple flavours out together. A definite must try at Bali Thai.

It was more than enough! We couldn't finish all & agreed that this set would be good for 6 😜This set included:
🔹
2 Appetizers: Tahu Telor, Mango Salad
🔹
1 Soup: Tom Yum Seafood
🔹
5 Main Courses: Ikan Bakar Bali, King Prawn w Basil Leaves, Stir Fried Chicken w Dried Chilli & Cashew Nuts, Hotplate Beancurd w Seafood, Pineapple Fried Rice
🔹
1 Dessert: Chendol
🔹
The dishes were average, not fantastic. I wonder if this is authentic Thai food as seriously, we came for the fiery spicy Thai kick but the spiciness was not there 😏The chendol was a disappointment too as the ice was too rough & hard 😕

Picked under a category which we are able to "Create Your Noodle Bar".
The grilled chicken chop was really moist and tender. One word - perfect. A great dish that is worth trying.

First time trying Bali Thai. The food are all nice and big portion. The services are good too with attentive and friendly staff. Will come again.
