After seeing an IG post on Bar Milano's Naples-style Pizza Fritta, I knew I had to try it!

Truffle Mushroom Pizza Fritta ($24)

The ingredients seem rather simple - mushrooms, ricotta, and a fried egg but it went so well with the fried pizza base. The fried pizza base was fluffy and crispy, without being overly oily. Highly recommend their Pizza Fritta!

Will definitely be back here one of the evenings to try their dinner menu & enjoy the old European vibe of the restaurant.

Came here specifically to try the Pizza Frita, this is the Naplitano 18++. First of all, the ambience inside is instantly relaxing: airy and bright, and the service attentive. The pizza frita is interesting - the buffalo mozzarella and San Marzano tomatoes lent a wonderful taste, and although the dough was crispy, I found it quite heavy and difficult to finish. Glad I tried it but I’d probably opt for the other dishes on a return visit. I’ll definitely be back...

The crust was crispy yet slightly chewy and not oily. Taste good with the ricotta, mushrooms, fried egg and slight hint of truffle. Portion is not that big so you can order more items to share.

Worth trying since I’ve never seen fried pizza in Singapore although the pappardelle impressed us more.

Vegetarian option with cherry tomatoes, zucchini strips and ricotta. Saucy, flavourful and sweet. So good that you don’t need protein to go with it.

Also ordered the Uova which is a shakshouka. Lovely dish to start with as you dip the whole bread in. The mild spiciness makes it a good appetiser.

Truffle Mushroom Pizza Fritta is a deep fried pizza style originating from Naples. The dough is fluffy and more chewy, which reminds me of ham chim peng. The flavourful and creamy toppings compliment the dough.
