After dinner, move your night over to this snazzy bar tucked inside Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Bar Trigona ranks at number 40 on Asia's Best Bars 2019 list, so trust your drinks are going to be good. First-timers should try the signature Nectar (from RM40) that sees a perfect blend of light rum, lime, jasmine and torch ginger cordial and Bianco vermouth. For something more intense, give Burppler Jesuis Enamourez's regular order a try — Bitters & Smoke (RM60) made with mezcal, ginseng and honeycomb. If that doesn't tickle your fancy, choose to go off-menu and leave your drink in the bartenders hands.

This has probably been my favourite drink here. Intense and strong flavour. The cocktail is left to ferment with Mezcal, Reposado tequila, Cynar, Fernet, Green Chartreuse, infused Ginseng Smoke and honey comb. Upon serving, they also serve you the honey comb that’s infused with all the alchohol. RM60 per glass.

Refreshing gin based cocktail from the Leaf & Flower category with elder flower, torch ginger cordial, lime, grapefruit tonic and a touch of Trigona honey. RM55 per glass.

It’s not uncommon to know that the Chef at Bar Trigona loves to adopt local elements and flavours into his dishes just like any other finger food on the menu. The oysters for this dish are source locally, deep fried in a thick battered, topped with sambal and finger lime caviar. I find the combination quite subtle perhaps more sambal would satisfied my Asian taste buds but those finger lime caviar miraculously cut off the greasiness of the oyster. Pricing wise, could be a bit steep. RM68 per serving.


Named after Malaysia’s native stingless bee, Bar Trigona has garnered many interests from the city’s famous socialites, KOLs to lifestyle urbanites since day one of opening. One of the reason got to be their exceptional luxurious interior by AB Concept HK. Just seating by the bar, staring at those glass mosaic wall combine with their charming yo-yo lighting, sipping a bespoke cocktail isn’t just blissful to unwind after a long day? The next convincing reason is the bar houses one of the finest mixologist team in town. Head Bartender, Mr.Ashish Sharma previously serve at the Manhattan Bar Singapore(Asia’s Best Bar 2017) and other Four Seasons Hotel prior to KL. Speak to him as he will be passionate to create something based on your liking. The handcrafted cocktails here emphasise in using local sustainable ingredients like the Trigona Honey, Torch Ginger, Cinnamon, pandan etc.


One of my new found favourite here. A Mezcal base cocktail with Amaro, sweet Vermouth, Trigona honey and cherry cacao bitters topped with a Semai dark chocolate. RM55 per serving.
