(sorry i am not sure if she would mind if I tag her so I did not 😅) This raisin cream cheese from Barcook IS RLY SUPER SOFT and chewy!! I was so afraid of squashing it 😭 Heard it is better when it just comes out from the oven!! But I had it cold, and it's still good! 😋 a little sad because it wasn't as puffed up / fluffy as I see in other people's photo!!

Now they’ve released a series of veggie buns and they’re really delicious! Here’s the list of our favorites in order:
~
Veggie Fondue which could really be our go to bun from now now because we’re a sucker for potatoes in our bread and the broccolis were amazingly crunchy!
~
Tomato Basil tasted like pizza but it’s a healthier option with probably half the calories. The cherry tomatoes were used to depict tomato purée and they were surprisingly sweet 🍅
~
Lotus Trio was a smart play on the ingredients as you’d never imagine lotus roots on your bread. The roots were so crunchy and made very fun to eat.
~
They were also others in the series like:
Spring Midori
Mushroom Issho
Spinach Gomae
Leek Wasabi
Be sure to check the amazing buns from @barcookbakery

[Make an Impact - World Meat Free Week] Make an impact by swapping to one meat-free meal this week.
🔸
Research estimates that the global population will reach 9.1 billion by 2050 and, requiring an extra 200 million tonnes of meat annually. It is now widely accepted that to increase meat production to meet the rising demand is neither sustainable nor ethically feasible (several reasons: meat production is already responsible for 14.5% of global greenhouse gas emissions, more than all emissions from global transport combined; the livestock sector uses 30% of the earth’s entire land surface while 69% of global fresh water is attributed to the food system; and 80% of the deforestation of the Amazon Rainforest is attributed to beef production).
🔸
Making just one swap to a meat free meal during World Meat Free Week can have a huge impact. Individually, everyone can:
* Save greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to enough electricity to charge a mobile phone for two years; and
* Reduce your carbon footprint by up to 50%
Collectively, we would save:
* The carbon equivalent of boiling a kettle more than 1 trillion times
* Over 685 billion calories equivalent to running more than 263 million marathons
🔸
To support this cause, Quorn x Barcook has launched six newly-launched buns. 100 free buns would also be given away at 3pm every day at six select Barcook Bakery outlets (Hong Lim Complex, OG Albert Complex, Alexandra Retail Centre (ARC), NEX, Clarke Quay Central and Raffles City Shopping Centre). Across all 11 Barcook Bakery outlets islandwide, patrons can also enjoy a special promotional offer of $1 per bun from 12pm to 2pm.
🔸
Try them, and you'll be surprised they taste just like real meat. Ever since I was first introduced to them, I've been buying Quorn products and I always have some in my fridge. Since I also love Barcook for their soft fluffy buns, this collaboration is working really well.
🔸
But even if you're not getting these buns, do consider going meat free for a meal during this World Meat Free Week.

Nice soft banana in the middle pairs perfectly with the chocolate cream cheese. Tbh the cheese doesn't come thru strongly which is great in this case

It's time for your daily dose of salted egg porn again. Buried underneath the rough yet pillowy bosom of the bun, the warm, flowy liquid gold (a.k.a. Salted egg yolk custard) of Barcook Bakery's Liu Sha bun was sweet and smooth like the promises of a seductress, and gently smoothed over the rough textures of the bun, making it downright sinful yet irresistible. Good heaven is an actual place on earth. Who knew?
