Soft & fluffy bread with some logan bits. Strong taste of longan & brown sugar in the mochi which is quite sweet.
There's never been a short of creativity @barcookbakery
This Nasi Lemak bun sums it up with slightly sour pickle, boiled egg, ikan billis peanuts on top of sambal chilli 🌶 So shiok ah! Can you notice coconut flakes also? 🤩
You can get trio along with crab bun & raisin cream bun at $5.8. I am embarking on a diet to reduce my tout tummy so I only tried 1 , will hand over this mission to y'all 😜

Sweet & juicy orange on top of smooth cream cheese. No hint of sea salt at all tho😅 not bad but too overpriced imo
This floss bun is different in the sense that the floss is wedged in between the bread instead of on top. Also, it comes with mayo, onions and pineapple. I can appreciate when bakeries are creative with their flavours, and this is definitely creative! 🤩
This bun kinda tastes a bit like a tuna bun ngl. I guess it's cuz of the mayo, its not the typical floss bun egg mayo that most floss buns have, but actual white mayo. I'm not a big fan of tuna but this was still enjoyable! Really liked the pineapple and the onion. This bun just tastes like a combo of floss and tuna. The bread is a bit on the chewier, stiffer side but it wasnt dry.
Would probably still get a regular floss bun over this but this was quite worth the try! Unique flavours and really interesting too. I don't think I'd get it again but glad I finally tried!

🦖 would I buy again: no
💍 would I marry: I would admire from a distance for months
had to buy this when i finally passed by barcook the other day!!! tasted abit too sweet for me but it’s good for anyone who doesn’t favour super intense black sesame flavours because the red bean in this tones it down quite a bit!
I usually toast shio pans that I buy back, as they get nice and crispy at the bottom due to the butter content. Barcook's shio pan is decent with a crisp bottom after toasting, but it could have been softer inside, and it was less flavourful than expected. I’ll go for So Good Bakery's shio pan over this anytime, but barcook’s locations are more convenient.
