A simple long black and salted caramel gula melaka cake is spot on!

BAC's set lunch is definitely one to have if you're around the area. Comes with a selected dish and a glass of lime juice or you can top up RM5 for a black coffee.
In frame: Sun Dried Tomato Pesto Pasta. Linguine cooked al dente, nice flavours from the pesto but portion may be a bit small for some.

Sweet Potato Fritters (RM18) served with poached egg and smoked chicken slices (or avocado). One of BAC’s signature dishes. Fritter was crunchy, eggs done perfectly and the sauce was good. Not entirely sure what sauce it was but it tasted a bit like curry.
BAC has weekday lunch set for RM15 only, comes with lime juice or add RM5 for a long black.

Crunchy, lightly sweetened nut-and-seed homemade granola with blueberries, strawberries, yogurt and mint. The granola was a tad bit hard, even when soaking in milk. But I wouldn’t mind having it again.

Battery Acid Club is not new to the cafe scene, but it was only recently that their kitchen started serving hot food. This new menu follows their minimalist theme with simple aesthetics and balanced flavours. Do not miss the Miso Espresso Baked Chicken (RM22) — a whole chicken leg marinated in flavourful espresso miso, and served with black sesame sauce and seaweed purée, or get the set that pairs Sweet Potato Fritters with poached eggs, smoked chicken slices and a glass of Iced Black (RM24). For dessert, relive childhood memories with the Kacang Tumbuk Affogato (RM13) — a shot of espresso over ice cream with a crunchy local twist.

Hassle-free (and really free) parking, minimalist space, good coffee — a stone's throw away from the congested Damansara Uptown. I can see why this place may be a sanctuary to some. Battery Acid Club now serves hot food! Had a very pleasant miso-marinated chicken served with a nest of alfalfa sprouts, sweet potatoes, and dollops of seaweed and black sesame purée to compliment (RM22). The menu is so intricately done in terms of its presentation which suits the monochromatic environment very well. Expect familiar items with an added twist (think crispy sweet potato fritters and kacang tumbuk affogato).
