1 x side dish, 1 x premium meat per diner, 1 x stew per table & free flow of the normal selection of meats, small side dishes and drinks. Really enjoyed the food here as all the meats were very tasty. Will definitely go back again!

Favourite korean bbq place! Other than free flow meat selection, the buffet comes with free flow barley/sour plum tea, additional stew, appetisers and premium meat per pax. Marination on point!

Can’t wait to return.

Huang Yeon has opened their second outlet in Chinatown Point that attract the lunch crowd for their very valued lunch set.

I was shocked with the portion which was consider a lot to me, even as a heavy eater. For every lunch set you even entitled for unlimited flow of salad.

Each lunch set also comes with the side dishes and all of this for only $12++.

The pork itself was marinated well and every accompany dishes have their own unique taste and mix well together.

A veryyy hearty and filling lunch set!! Really appreciate how many items is included in this (main, rice, soup, side dishes, kimchi, drink and free-flow salad bar!) Love how flavourful and spicy the pork is and how earthy and nutty the rice is 😌 Great variety of banchans that I enjoyed as well!

Korean rendition of my favorite egg dish, Chawanmushi <3 ($8.80) except this one is better because its so much bigger and the sight of the hot stock bubbling over the edges of the pot is so much more appetite-whetting than a tiny teacup πŸ˜‚

Its really light-tasting, almost bland. Almost to the point where I can't tell its made from egg and I settled with enjoying the light, fluffy texture with the kimchi and some of the other banchans.

But this is really my first time trying this egg dish, so I'm not sure its supposed to be this bland or whether it was just this restaurant's recipe. Still, quite a good appetizer to go along with a heavy meaty meal :)

See that big piece of beef ($30)? Oh yeah. :3 Also ordered the garlic chicken which came with two huge slabs of chicken thigh ($20) marinated with tons of garlic.

I think the portions were reasonable but I wished the meats could have been more flavorful. Perhaps its the fact that a gas rather than charcoal plate was used, but while the meat was tender I found myself wishing it was more juicy and had more of that meaty, gamey flavor. Very thankful to the helpful staff who helped cook and cut up the meats. 😊

Still, the free-flow banchans were pretty good. I liked that the kimchi was not too spicy. :) Anddddd they have a free flow salad bar accessible to all customers wow!! That meant watermelon slices, carrot sticks, lettuce leaves, tomato and lots of other goodies to dress up that meat and balance out the protein-heavy meal. Also much-needed free flow water and barley tea.

Certainly not regretting the newly-discovered part of me that likes Korean food. :3
