Dinner Buffet - $80
Macaroon, Peach tart, Cheesecake, Summer berries cake, Black Forest cake, Chocolate fudge cake, Mango milk pudding, Dadar Gulung
Offering seafood such as prawns and sashimi, grilled meats, some international spread and handful of local cuisines. There’s a noodle bar and cheese counter as well. Missed their wood fired oven pizzas due to limited tummy space. Their desserts are quite good so do leave some space for it! Quite an enjoyable buffet dinner
Beach Road Kitchen

Indonesian specialities buffet that is created by guest chefs from The Ritz-Carlton Bali 😍 I love Indonesian cuisine and I must say they cook every dish really well. There is a great variety of food and my favourite will be under the grill section - pork & satay! Till now I am still craving for it, the pork is juicy and the char taste is 💯 Ok I love almost all the meat they have at the buffet spread #guilty.

Another thing that's on the menu (& my mind) that I like would be the prata! Although this item is not under the specialities, I was blown away by how buttery and soft it is! And yes don't worry, their regular buffet line is still available 😂 be sure to check out their fresh seafood (which are located in this chill room look alike) and see how they prepare your oyster fresh 👍🏻 P/S you can make your own laksa and salad tooo!

Anyway the good thing about this place is that the food are located almost everywhere; so you need to walk around for food... which means digesting a little before you get your second/third/fourth serving 😜

Be sure to check it out because it's till 27 July only!

Beach Road Kitchen Strawberry Shortcake 🍰 Fell in love with it the moment I saw it at the buffet spread! I love how the cake is filled with all the berries that I love. And most importantly there's strawberry in every layer. The cake is soft and fluffy, not too sweet and the cream is light. Perfect dessert even after a generous spread of buffet hehe #myheartapprove for sure.
🤑: Dinner Buffet: $80++ (Monday to Thursday), $90++ (Friday to Sunday) from now till 27 July
👅: 4/5

I have been reliably informed that one of the best dishes at Beach Road Kitchen’s Indonesian Specialties, their breathtaking Babi Guling, was a very unfortunate opening night only one night stand.

A whole redolent roasted pig that’s perfumed with all kinds of sapid spices sounds good enough, but it don’t stop there. The hefty hog is pulled into a portion of your preference before being tossed together with a luscious curry sauce and fried shallots just before it lands on your plate. And that is the final, ultimate evolution of the babi guling, and on God it is absolutely delicious.

However, maybe, juuusst maybe, if enough people head down to Beach Road Kitchen and ask about the succulent Babi Guling before it all ends on the 27 of July, @jwmarriottsg may just cave into sky high consumer demand and roast up another whole hog. Maybe. Perhaps. But you definitely didn’t hear this idea from me.

While the buffet is rather dear at $80++ for weekday dinner and $90++ for weekend (Friday inclusive) dinner, it’s worth every dollar put down. Trust me fam, treat yo’self. You’ve earned it.

A sincere shoutout goes to @jwmarriottsg for the generous hospitality, and to @burpple for organizing the whole shebang!

We were treated to authentic Balinese flavours with dishes like Ayam Panggang Bumbu Rojak (Tamarind Baked Chicken with Tangy Glaze), Babi Guling (Roasted Suckling Pig), Gulai Kambing Jakarta (Yellow Lamb Curry with Potato), Babi Goreng (Fried Pork) and Satays (at the live grill station) paired with an array of extensive sambal chillies. The desserts were delectable too with the made on the spot Dadar Gulung (choice of coconut or mango), macarons and the delicious Bubur Pulut Hitam.

Of course, their regular buffet line is also available, so you can get your hands on the very fresh seafood selections (such as oysters) and many more. Thanks @burpple for the invitation and @jwmarriottsg for hosting us.

• Lunch (Mon - Sat, 12 - 2.30pm): Adults $60++ / Child $30++

• Dinner (Mon - Thurs, 6-10pm): $80++ / $40++, (Fri - Sat, 6-10pm): $90++ / $45++

• Sunday Brunch (12-3pm): $118++ / $59++

Literally spicing up their quality international buffet spread, JW Marriott’s Beach Road Kitchen is currently running an exciting collaboration with Chef Made Karyasa and his team from Ritz Carlton Bali. The 11-day Indonesian feast, available now till 27 July, features authentic Balinese cuisine. Think an extensive array of sambal chillies like Sambal Matah, Sambal Tomat, Sambal Terasi as well as aromatic Indonesian-style curries with options such as pork turmeric and yellow lamb. The saucy Tum Ayam (Balinese banana leaf-wrapped chicken marinated in lemongrass), flavourful Sup Buntut (oxtail soup) and chunky satay being my favourite items from the Indonesian Specialties line-up. And not forgetting the sweets sections, on display was a sumptuous selection of traditional cakes, and my pick being the Dadar Gulung made fresh and packed with a choice of mango or grated coconut and palm sugar. Cooling down with a bowl of Es Teler (offered on selected days), I really enjoyed the intriguing combination of avocado, coconut, and jackfruit served with drizzles of sweetened condensed milk.

But of course, the highlight for me and actually for most at the table was the grilled meats. Piling on the proteins, the Iberico Pork and Kalbi Ribs were to-die-for especially when you get them right off the grill. Slightly charred on the outside, the meats had a good balance of sweet, savoury and just slightly smoky. There at the live grill station, you can also choose to have fish grilled upon order - pomfret or rainbow trout. So good~ Those who love the bold and full-bodied flavours of Indonesian food should definitely go down to Beach Road Kitchen for this limited time only collaboration!

Many thanks to @JWMarriottSG for feeding as well as hosting us and @Burpple for the invite to this fantastic Eatup! #JWMarriottSG #BeachRoadKitchen #Burpple
