Really love the soup here! It’s super flavourful and sweet. Add chilli powder or chopped chilli into the soup to give it an extra kick! We ordered the jumbo sized portion, which comes with really thick and juicy prawns.

The prawn mee here comes in 3 sizes - small ($6), medium ($9) and jumbo ($12) and you can opt to have it dry or with soup. This was my first time trying their dry prawn mee, which comes with prawns sliced in halves, yellow noodles/beehoon and a mix of chilli sauce! The chilli was sweet, and I added extra chilli powder to make it spicier! The dry prawn mee also comes with a side of refillable soup, but I found that it just doesn’t taste as nice as the one in soup prawn mee. Nonetheless, the soup was still sweet and flavourful!

One of the best prawn mee in sg! The soup was rich and flavourful. Even the smallest serving had a good amount of prawns and noodles. Ngoh hiang was average in my opinion. Overall, was very satisfied with the meal. Will be back!

But a good old school taste at its best.
The Ngor Hiang here is a good pairing too.

Excellent bowl of hae mee tng with endless soup refills if you wish 😍

Prawn mee and fried ngor hiang over the long weekend! We arrived at 930+am on a public holiday, and thankfully there were still seats available (it seems as if they have expanded their seating area to the shop next door)! $6 for this small bowl of prawn mee (with only 4 half prawns). We all agreed that the soup here was less concentrated as that of Da Dong's. But between this or the one at Tai thong crescent, they tasted pretty similar to me. But what differentiated this, tai thong and Jalan sultan prawn mee, is the accompanying ngor hiang stall. I didn't quite enjoy the ngor hiang at jalan sultan! This at beach road prawn mee noodle house was acceptable, but we all felt that lao zhong zhong (Tai thong crescent) was still the best! 😄 #burpplen#burpplesg
