Looking for some dinner inspiration with your friends or loved ones on Tuesday nights? You should check out Beast & Butterflies at M Social Singapore for their 1-for-1 Super Tuesday dinner promo on selected mains! Here are some of the dishes that are included in this promo:

~Kurobuta Claypot Rice ($18): This is like a zhnged up version of the usual braised pork rice with but with Kurobuta pork belly used in their rendition. The meat itself is really tender and flavourful, and when you mix everything together (with the egg, rice & spring onion), it just tastes so good! Love the crispy thing that came on the side too!

~Pumpkin & Mushroom Risotto ($16): This is surprisingly very moreish! The dish may look simple but the flavours all came together harmoniously with each bite! From the sautéed mushrooms, to the garlic & pumpkin purée, everything was very savoury which left us wanting more.

~Singapore Laksa ($14): Really shiok! Gravy is so fragrant and lemak! Ingredients in the laksa include cherrystone clams, prawns & crispy tau pok. There’s a very pronounced seafood flavour in the broth thanks to the use of spicy dried shrimp!

The promotional mains are on weekly rotation, so customers will be able to enjoy different mains every week! Other promotional dishes (depending on which Tuesday you visit) include Crispy Pork Knuckle, Nasi Goreng, Claypot Hokkien Noodles, Croque Monsieur and more!

The Pumpkin Risotto & Mushroom ($16) is creamy, smooth and comforting. Love the texture of the risotto!

The Pan-Seared Salmon ($24) is not overcooked, the skin is crisp and fragrant, and it goes well our choice of red wine jus and sweet grilled asparagus.

My favourite main has to be the Crispy Pork Knuckle ($22 for half). The oven-roasted pork knuckle has a good fat-to-meat ratio, the meat is moist and tender and the skin has a nice crackle. Having said that, the best part is actually the zesty and spicy Thai Nam Jim sauce and Asian sauerkraut infused with sesame oil - they complement the pork knuckle perfectly. Love the Asian twist to this classic German dish!

I had dinner at Beast & Butterflies recently and the Thursday special, Mussels Casserole ($34 for 1kg), is great for sharing! We opted for the mussels to be cooked in Madeira cream sauce and they are plump and flavourful. It comes with a bread basket and free flow fries, which soak up the delicious sauce effortlessly. The fries are freshly fried, super crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside - I’ve got to say that the fries are as good as the mussels👍🏻

This was excellent.
.
The thick slab of Kurobuta Pork Chop on the bone is juicy and succulent with a light chew to texture, a nice ratio of fat to lean pork meat, and has decent savoury sweet peppery spice fatty flavour.
.
Served with Mushroom Fricassé, featuring tender button mushrooms in a mushroom cream gravy, which has deep earthy savoury salty flavour.
.
A rich black pepper gravy accompanies this dish, lending bold peppery spice savoury notes. We enjoyed this greatly.
