Seems like Bebek is starting to trend in local ground. The fried duck here came crispy but the meat felt short on tenderness; streaky enough but a tad dry though definitely not greasy. On the side were some long beans that came with a bit of curry that seemed to be doused in much coconut milk. Liked the rice portion here which is not much; easy to finish and the duck contained enough meat. Comes with three variants of chili (one of which was a mix of garlic and onions). Still, a bit pricey at $26 for a dish like this.
Chicken satay done Balinese-style. Just think about chicken paste spread thin similar to an Otah but on lemongrass sticks. This carried a smoky flavour with the minced chicken which came off fairly easy from the lemongrass, which provided its scent into the meat.
