Almost all the dishes had their signature bak kwa or pork floss. My favourite was the chicken roulade as it was tender with balanced seasoning. The paper bak kwa on it was the highlight! So thin and crispy! Good food and great service! Highly recommended :)

The morazella katsu and gourmet enoki rolls were delicious starters! Our main courses (pineapple fried rice and chicken roulade) were really tasty too! The bak kwa ice cream looks unassuming but tasted sooo yummy! Thomas was attentive to details and explained the highlights of the different dishes. Great service and food! 👍👍

This is part of the dessert menu in Bee Cheng Hiang. Gelato is not new to many. But to have Bak kwa in the vanilla flavour, have you tried it?

Well, this is an interesting one, where we find the Ice-Cream to be of vanilla taste but with each mouthful, there is the lingering smell/taste of Bak Kwa, which isn’t overpowering. It’s in fact, quite nice. Are you game to try it?

This main dish made a meat lover like me very satisfied. Sink your teeth into Gourmet Fusion Bakkwa (fusion of pork belly & hind leg) mousseline stuffed in whole chicken leg. Meat was very tender - the strong taste of bakkwa went very well with the more gentle undertones of chicken. This was accompanied by sautéed baby spinach, fluffy potato mousse and Chiziban (crispy bakkwa).

Ambience was nice. Service was great. I appreciated the staff spending time explaining each dish to us when he served it - how they were cooked and what ingredients went into it. He also regularly filled up our cups of water, I don’t think I ever saw the bottom of my cup!

Experience was overall very good. Would visit again with the Burpple deal.

We enjoyed this dish from the Tapas menu - it tastes exactly like how you would expect it to taste - that salty and sweet fusion of Bakkwa and cheese was delicious. The Mozzarella Katsu consists of Gourmet Fusion Bakkwa (fusion of pork belly & hind leg), cheesy mozzarella, house made mayonnaise and chives. Definitely very pricey at its original price, but I would get it with the 1 for 1 deal.

Takeaway special at Bee Cheng Hiang Grillery - we got a pint of Bakkwa Vanilla Gelato for $13.20 after a 20% discount (original price $16.50).
Bakkwa taste was pretty strong, nicely accompanied by a creamy vanilla base. Was an interesting dessert to try!
