Definitely go for the Wagyu Beef choice. The beef was smooth and silky, coupled with sukiyaki sauce that has a hint of sweetness just makes this a perfect dish. They were really generous with the ingredients as well making it worth every penny.

Price: $29.90++

Wagyu beef was tender but sauce was little too sweet for my liking though (cant say the same for my partner who thoroughly enjoyed the bowl of beef don and polished off every single grain).

Comes with sesame tofu, miso soup & an onsen egg which you can pour over your rice

Within walking distance from Tanjong Pagar MRT, Beef Sukiyaki Don Keisuke is yet another interesting concept by @ramen_keisuke, offering just two variations of the beef bowl. One is made with US Prime Chuck Eye Roll while the other more atas option is made with A4 Kagoshima Kuroge Wagyu. Since the seats face the open kitchen, you can actually watch and admire how each donburi is being prepared and cooked at the table in front of you.

Go big or go home. I decided to go for the best and boy, did it not disappoint. The beef slices were tender and juicy but as to whether was it worth the price? I’m not exactly sure 😄.

P.S. Their handmade sesame tofu was really interesting for me. For those who tried, comment down below whether you like it 😉.

A mini mountain of tender beef, where we drizzled the accompanying onsen egg all over the rice for the best flavour. This is probably one of our favourite Keisuke concept so far, located right beside Tanjong Pagar Plaza. Good morning!

I was soooo pumped for this when I heard about this place. I love how the entire experience of it - them cooking the beef slices and putting the finishing touches in front of you! We opted for the Beef Sukiyaki Don, premium-cut beef, simmered in a special sukiyaki sauce, koshihikari rice, shimeji mushrooms, braised tofu, shirataki noodles and cabbage. The beef was cooked to medium rare as requested. It was still juicy and moist but a little towards the chewy side. Personally, I wasn’t a huge fan of the sauce or the toufu or veg below the heaps of meat.

At $13.90++, the set came with the beef bowl, onsen egg, miso soup and assorted pickles, which I think is very worth it for the price! I’d definitely come back if I were craving for a comforting and hearty bowl of beef don.

We have been back a few times at this sukiyaki restaurant by Keisuke, and for $13.90++ you get this bowl of beef sukiyaki, an onsen egg by the side, a mini bowl of chawanmushi, miso soup and unlimited serving of pickles.
