True to its name, be wowed by their (very, very big) basket of beers - an extensive variety adorn the many fridges lined up by the entrance, enticing you to pick one (or more) out on the way to the register. Go wild!

Food wise, the Truffle Mushroom pizza ($23) and Fiery Crab and Shrimp Aglio Olio ($22) were decent. I quite liked the truffle bachamel base of the pizza, though reminiscent of the cream-based sauce of a certain pizza chain. Pasta was undercooked, tragically, but the olive oil base was quite addictive so, meh, whatever.

tldr; come for the happy hour and the chill vibes!

Decent but nothing mind-blowing, especially because it was on the blander side. Though called fiery, it was not spicy at all either, so this really fell short of expectations. Without Burpple this pasta would not have been worth it. Nonetheless, Beer Basket remains a great place for beers โ€” literally any kind of beers you want with craft beers on tap, a huge range of canned craft beers (both local and international), as well as wines. A good place to chill with their numerous drink options!

Set along ๐Ÿ“Katong's main road, @beerbasketkatong has at least 5 full fridges of craft beers for you to pick on a self service basis. A great place for a catch-up with some friends!

This pizza was layered in light pieces of prosciutto and had a creamy burrata in the centre. The crust was of the slightly hard and flaky variety but nothing enough cheese can't fix.

The truffle taste wasn't that strong for this one and the mushrooms weren't the best either. I still enjoyed the pizza with the arugula, though.

The nachos here are... Not good, to put it in a nice way. They really skimped on their toppings to produce a dry and lacking dish.

NGL, this may be lowbrow but it was done well. It wasn't just golden bits of well-seasoned chicken -- it was served above a bed of herby jalapeno mayo which gave it an added dimension.
