My go-to dish after a friend brought me to this place when it comes to golden mile. I prefer the kind of thick, spicy and sour tom yum over the clear ones. And this here delivers that.
In it lies a ton of ingredients, prawns, fishballs, shimeiji mushrooms, fish and sotong 🍲 The price tag at $6 is also unbelievable for the portion and quality! Unfortunately this place closes at 10pm if not it’ll be a good supper spot. Catch them at lunch and dinner hours instead!
Great place for affordable Thai food. Will be back for more!
For two of us we ordered salted egg papaya salad, tum yum seafood soup, dry noodles with fish balls, lime squid, mango sticky rice, and two drinks. We paid S$50! Everything was good, and papaya salad and tum yum soup were my favorites. Next time I want to try the pad thai, and green beans basil pork that were popular at a lot of other tables. Great place to grab a yummy lunch or dinner!
Beer Thai’s so hidden at the corner you won’t realise it exists unless a friend brings you. The thing about Thai food restaurants are that most places have their own specialities so I wouldn’t want to place one on a higher ranking than another.
I would say the green curry is good here, it’s rich without being too heavy, can easily drink the curry without feeling too jialat. Pls take the pork while it’s hot to avoid it becoming too dry. Ordered the yellow curry prawns as it resembled somboon seafood in Thailand but I was quite disappointed in the sauce that was not anywhere near. We paid around 24 each between 5 of us for about 8/9 dishes.
In any case, not hard to find reasonable Thai food here in sg but you gotta remember the favorites at each place. I personally remember better meals at diandin leluk but then again, dishes ordered were not completely the same.
Finally a spot where Thai fish cakes are hand made and not packet ones. 😍
It doesn’t taste as spicy as it looks. Unique secret recipe sauce that goes really well with white rice.
