This coffee roll from Bengawan Solo is basically a treat for all my fellow coffee lovers cum haters, with a light yet fragrant coffee aroma embedded in the dense, soft cake, paired with the savoury, buttery buttercream. A really classic tasting treat that could bring you back to the old days of enjoying a lovely cake in a coffeeshop watching your children chase chicken around the fields. Ok I don't actually have that experience in real life but you get the idea.
This cake slice is pretty thin for the price, while it tastes like a classic treat, I don't think the price is very justified but not bad!

My fav pandan roll from Bengawan Solo. Lovely moist cake with pandan fragrance and the cheese added more dimensions to the overall taste. One of the rare salty-sweets I like.
