Most duck stalls we have tried so far in SG are either braised duck or roasted duck. We are pretty excited for this salted duck takeaway. It comes with cucumber, garnish, Calamansi, pickle and red chilli sauce. The meat is soft, delicious & not greasy on its own. We will try their kway Teow next 👍

Finally tried this. Been fascinated by a duck that's not braised or roasted. The taste was basically salty lor, like salty/preserved vegetable, which was also part of the meal. The cooking style was uncannily similar to poached chicken. The chicken rice connection extended to the rice and soup, which were both delicious. The soup made me wanna try something soupy next time.

Well we hear of salted egg and salted chicken, I never know salted duck do exist until I visited this place. Hidden under a HDB coffee shop at Toa Payoh, this place was just a 5 minutes walk from the nearest MRT station.

Unlike the usual roasted duck, they sell smoked and salted duck. Do ask for the combination of both for only $4. I have to say the taste definitely exciting for me. If you looking for something new, go for this!

No queue spotted at the humble Kopitiam.
Somewhat, standard had slipped a little too. Their fragrant rice was a little hard and dry. Duck was still tasty nonetheless. So was their salted vegetables fish maw fish that went very well with the rice.

Finally tried this not-so-typical hawker dish — salted duck! It isn’t as salty as I expected; similar to a normal steamed chicken in your basic chicken rice meal (ps the rice is also chicken rice flavored!), but tougher in texture with a good pronounced salt flavour. Tougher I mean in comparison to steamed chicken, for honestly it’s one of the more tender ducks I’ve tried.

Aside from that, you have to get the pig organ soup with fish maw (~$6?) which was surprisingly one of the better pig organ soups I’ve had, very well rounded in flavour and pretty generous with the ingredients as well, though the fish maw was juuust kinda lacking something.

$4 for this simple looking salted duck rice.
Meat was very tender.
Most of the saltiness is on the skin.
Add some chilli to really enjoy it.
