After being introduced of this place, decided to go again but this time with another friend. Had the 8 times spiciness white ramen with fried karaage chicken ($14.90). Ramen was delicious along with its soup. My favourite would still be the fried karaage chicken

Recommended by my friend who worked nearby and she brought me to this place where the ramen is kind of reasonable.

I ordered the braised pork ramen ($15.80) and I like how the seperate the meat from the ramen to prevent diluting the meat.

I would like to go back again for it

Went to lunch w friends and ordered a Beppu ramen - essentially ramen w assorted seafood such as prawn, crabstick, mussels + other ingredients such as bamboo shoots, corn, seaweed and half hanjuku egg (16.80++). We also ordered cuttlefish mayo (8.80++) and pork gyoza (5.80++) to share. I also ordered a lime juice (3.50++) that is refillable - a definite must order if you are going to challenge yourself to high spicy levels.

The ramen has customisable spicy level that ranges from 1 to 8. As a 小辣 eater, i only dared to opt for level 1 and I still felt like its quite spicy but the spiciness gels well with the soup. Overall a decent ramen and would rate it a 3.5/5

Im always a huge fan of mayo and the cuttlefish mayo is to die for. Instead of just providing mayo at the side, they drizzled the cuttlefish with mayo and torched it slightly, giving it a smoky touch.

Gyoza, on the hand, was normal, not fantastically good or bad~

Overall i might come back again and will try to order different sides/non-ramen dishes to try out since they offer many different selections!

Beppu Menkan offers what I would say a more homely kind of omakase course meal. The omakase 12 course is $108 for 2 pax and they did give a variety of ingredients and definitely loads of ikura incorporated in their dishes. 😍 The ingredients used are all fresh, and I loved their abalone and sashimi! The sashimi slices were so thick and succulent. I would say that this is pretty value for money, considering how omakase courses are usually in 3 digit ranges per pax. Their service is definitely impeccable, because the service staff are so kind and they are very open to engage in conversations.

Located in China Square Central along Pickering Street, spot this cozy Japanese restaurant serving up omakase and ramen with rich, hearty broths! Only available during dinner, their 12-Course Omakase ($88) starts off with a cold dish, Salmon and Hamachi Sashimi and 3 courses of Beppu Menkan's delicacies - Grilled Pufferfish, Karrage Prawn and Egg Tofu. Follow it up with Mini Sushi of the Day, 3 courses of Beppu Signature Seafood Item, Kyushu White Chilli Ramen, Meat Dish and ending it off with their Premium Rice Box.

The stall offer ramen spiciness level from 0 (non spicy) to level 8 (flaming hot). I choose level 3 which already quite spicy for me. This humble Japanese ramen shop may not be popular at the outside as it has old exterior & interior look, but definitely worth try since their food quality is good with reasonable price.
