The spiced pear is one of my favourite flavours here, as it is light and refreshing. There’s a distinct pear flavour and a mild spice taste from the star anise/cinnamon, which I enjoyed.

Had to get the chocolate sable (from motherdough) I saw sitting on their display counter, which was rich, buttery and well balanced with the flaky salt sprinkled on it :)

A scoop of White Chrysanthemum with their freshly made thyme cone @bopgelato. The floral taste was subtle yet refreshing.

TGIF! Anyone craving for @bopgelato’s cone like me? 🙆🏻‍♀️

This botanical flavours-inspired gelato needs no introduction. Step into the cozy gelato boutique and you will be mesmerized by a fragrant aroma. All thanks to their waffle cone that is infused brilliantly with thyme. Excellent crisp with hint of earthy, herbaceous, minty tones. While some waffle cones get soggy quickly, this one holds the gelato ingeniously.

Experience how the mellow, tangy sweetness of red strawberries blends with the sweet peppery undertones of basil, that makes the hot favourite strawberry basil gelato so delectable on palate. Try also the Midnight Gianduja (premium flavour); rich, malty indulgence of Dark Valrhona Chocolate with Italian hazelnuts. Smooth without overwhelming creaminess.

Hojicha is my favourite flavour at bop, and it was good as usual! A very pleasant roasted matcha flavour that was sufficiently strong and not bitter.

Was surprised at how good the midnight gianduja was. It had a rich chocolatey taste without being too sweet, with the hazelnut flavours hitting right at the end. I was impressed at how the flavour profile changed from the start and end of each bite :)

The waft of the thyme really hits you once you enter the store, filling your body with oozy warm vibes. There were floral undertones and the pandan was fragrant! The ice cream was smooth as well. No wonder it’s on the Michelin guide.

Got my favourite sea salt hojicha, which was well balanced and smooth. The roasted green tea flavour came through without it being too overwhelming. Hazelnut was decent and was a good pairing with the hojicha. The thyme cone is still good but the top part of the cone was too thin and got soggy quickly. Thankfully, the bottom part was crunchy.
