Birds of Paradise’s line-up never fails to impress us. This time, we tried their Basil, Rose & Lychee Sorbet and Sea Salt Hojicha.
Basil 🌿 : The basil tastes exactly like a basil leaf. Earthy, aromatic. Most importantly, genuine.
Rose & Lychee Sorbet 🥀 : The floral notes acted as a good counterbalance to the sharp tang and freshness of the lychee sorbet.
Sea Salt Houjicha 🍵 : The houjicha flavor could definitely be more intense. But the bigger problem is the lack of saltiness.

yummy and unique icecream flavor ! price around $9 for two scoop :) first time trying it and love it!!

$6 (with the cone, $5 without) // THIS WAS SO NICE!!!! swear this is the best gelato shop in SG, creative, intricately-paired flavours and can tell that the ingredients are of good quality, producing a very smooth and creamy gelato!! tried the roasted sesame which was a white sesame base with (generous) swirls of black sesame!! yumz!! rly blew me away the moment it hit my tongue :~))) and it was a real treat when paired with the thyme cone (not a flavour u see everyday heheheh)

Probably not one of their best flavours

Taste was light but texture was good
Stronger rose taste compared to peach 🍑

Perfection when paired with their one&only Thyme-infused Cone ($5.7)

Lychee with a raspberry swirl; still wld prefer the strawberry basil flavour tbh but thot I’d have smth different since my trips to the east aint frequent!🍂

Nonetheless, defo still one of the most incredibly delightful & creamy gelatos u can get on our shores! (ps. surprisingly preferred the cone soft/soggy; I felt that it enabled the botanical flavours of the gelato to twine perfectly with the the thyme-flavours of the waffle cone!🌿

This may be my favourite bop flavour! (up there with spiced pear) Randomly chose this flavour and boy was I surprised at how much I liked it! It’s roasty, nutty, and has a rich, deep flavour. Texture is nice & smooth, and coupled with the fragrant thyme cone, it’s no wonder I was obsessed about bop for a period of time (heh)
