Lychee raspberry was refreshing, chocolate sorbet was pure bittersweet decadence. The earl grey waffle cone was delicious but quite disappointed that the choc sorbet was melting through the cone in less than 10mins ☹️

With a hot Sunday afternoon. We both fell in love with this Spiced Pear edition, sweet fruity notes peppered with a cinnamonish taste. This makes the White Chrysanthemum pale in comparison.

We are creatures of habit and I absolutely love and will order this each time we’re here – pistachio (+ $1) x roasted hojicha! This combination sent me to ice cream paradise and these lil balls of happiness are both very pronounced in terms of flavor.

Pistachio was creamy yet not overly dense while roasted hojicha was the yummiest with a strong aftertaste of green tea and just so nutty. It paired so well with their freshly-made thyme cone!

Single scoop of sesame ice cream w thyme cone ($6.30)

The smell of thyme that fills the shop is so welcoming! Also, it’s very interesting to see the service crews preparing the fresh cones in front of the customers. The flavours we tried here are black sesame & midnight gianduja (chocolate-hazelnut). Love how the ice cream were not that sweet and milky, so they felt really light and kinda refreshing. Unlike other typical cones, which can get soggy really quickly, these cones still stay crispy till we finished the ice cream. Would highly recommend choosing the cone over the cup!

Wow!!! I can't believe I have been sleeping on Birds of Paradise all this while. I regularly see people posting pictures of it on Instagram and thought it was probably overrated but trying it for myself has changed my mind. It IS worth the hype. I really liked the spiced pear ice-cream as it was tangy without being overly sour, and had a nice grainy texture to it. The cone was more fragrant than tasty, so next time I would probably skip the cone and go for a double scoop of ice-cream instead. 😜
