Ordered Sea-salt Hojicha & Pistachio. We really like how yummy the ice cream were(balanced flavour and sweetness) and the cone was crispy throughout!
Do expect long queue, but it’s definitely worth the waitπŸ€ͺ

A mix of savory and sweet! Matcha lovers will like this!

Top of cone: Pandan
'am constantly on the lookout for new flavours that I've yet tried and was rather apprehensive about B.O.P's pandan. As much as I enjoy Pandan chiffon, I'm not sure if 'd enjoy the intense pandan-coconuty flavours in my gelato. It turned out to be the flavour I enjoyed the most out of all 3 that I sampled that day - +White chrysanthemum and Sea salt hojicha. Pandan was refreshingly light (not sure how they did it!) and yet, fragrant. I'd expected an intense, overpowering flavour but was glad that it wasn't the case at all.

Bottom of cone: Sea salt Hojicha
Hms. Hojicha was intense, salt was mild but oddly not the kinda 'light' and 'clean'-tasting sea salt that i prefer. I think it might have been better to have the ice cream peppered with sea-salt rather than having salt incorporated into Hojicha!

In cup: White Chrysanthemum
Previously reviewed and refreshingly light as ever!

These flavours blended fantastically with each other; didn't expect the tea-based earl grey to blend so nicely with the refreshing strawberry basil -- and that basil was very prominent.

It's a bit pricey but the ice cream scoops are substantial and the exciting flavours are always fun to play with. Really nice to grab a cone and sit by the fountain.

The white chrysanthemum flavour is one of BOP's best-selling flavours! Main body of ice cream focuses on chrysanthemum, which is noticeable but light enough to be enjoyable. Small pieces of chocolate chips are interspersed in each scoop of ice cream, although I think they are a little too hard and it feels bad for your teeth if you ever bite on one.

The pistachio flavour is also one of our favourite, and compared to the pistachio ice cream served at many other ice cream shops, BOP's variant is significantly more nutty, which is something we love.

We always get our ice cream in the thyme cone and not the cup, because we love the smell and taste of herbs in the cone. Do note that it is an extra $1 for the cone though! In total, we paid $10, which is admittedly expensive but certainly worth it if you went all the way down to Jewel for BOP!

Our favorite flavours are strawberry basil, cherry basil and hazelnut! And of course we can never miss out the thyme cone!
