This set costs around $24. Requires us to choose two out of 12 choices from all stars combo menu. From what I chose, Pork Katsu and Salmon Belly, the Salmon Belly was 5/5. It was juicy although only 2pcs. Since I used Burpple Deals, we also required to order the drinks which cost around $2.5-5. The environment was also not bad! Really worth it using the Burpple Deals.
Was surprised when we got there that they suddenly changed the menu and the food items applicable for Burpple. Now, you can only pick items on their “Allstar” set items page. This set cost $28 without GST, and you are still required to get the drink to get the Burpple offer. We got the $5 Calpico drinks, and everything cost $39 in total with GST. Though some items like the Milano Chicken and Demi Glacé Roasted Beef tasted nice, we felt that this new set was overall a little pricey and might not be as worth as when you could choose more items in the old menu. We used to come here often but may think twice about going back after this menu change.
Very tender, rather chewy but overall not bad. As u can tell the middle isn't very cooked, and exterior can use a tad more crisp. But the garlic chips certainly helped
Sauce was ok but otherwise this is terrible. The pork didn't have a particularly good texture, portion was pretty sad, and most importantly the stench is v strong, such that it forms a weird smell tgt w the sauce. Heard good things, hope this is a one-off
Combo has choice of another meat(non-beef), including unagi, lamb, pork etc
No wonder it's a popular choice. Roast beef isn't the best, nor is the amount of meat given a lot at all, but damn, the sauce is lip-smacking. It's a sticky sweet sauce, really worth a try just for the sauce. Btw the mound is not all beef, there's 6 thin slices the rest is all rice underneath
Not too bad, not v spicy mainly sweet. Doesn't have a particular strong taste from any ingredient, and the lamb taste is very very mild too(which I guess people would enjoy). Barely can tell it's lamb
