More Reviews of good food at Blisshouse Theme Restaurant

Beautiful garden themed restaurant with a white carriage and swing for the perfect shot. Lunch menu served was pretty Asian fusion at affordable prices. Lamb shank was probably the most expensive item on menu. Slow cooked for hours such that meat tears off easily from the bone and fully infused with rendang flavors right to the core. A rather big portion that is good to share between the 2 with some additional orders of sides!

I was a tad apprehensive and skeptical of the food served at Blisshouse originally. The extensive ethereal, fairytale theme and design of the restaurant made me feel like they were trying to compensate for subpar food with a good aesthetic.

I was completely wrong. The squid ink risotto is fragrant and buttery, the grains used were of a good texture and consistency. The overall dish held together nicely without running or splitting, and the subtle salty flavour of squid ink came through, despite the heavy butter taste.

However, the calamari that topped the dish was your average, run of the mill calamari you can get anywhere. Not good, not bad, just.. okay.

Have a terrific Tuesday my dears πŸ’‹

Duck Confit (SGD$26.80) - was slow-cooked for 8 hours so meat was succulent beneath its crackling skin. Petit Salad, crispy Potato Wedges and maple mustard dressing added flavours and crunch to the dish, but what really stood out was the sunny side-up egg flanking the duck leg. I poked it and let its yolk sweeten out the saltish duck - lovely effect.

Sambal SnapperΒ (SGD$20.80) was grilled and topped with sambal chilli, and served with vegetables on the side. Knifepoint slid through crackling skin and touched the snowy flesh which flaked off prettily, firm in texture. Sambal chilli could be more spicy in my opinion - I thought it tasted a little too sweet. .

Was always under the impression that this place is only good for taking photos but I was pleasantly surprised by the food - the pastas were not too bad!

I love how juicy those mushrooms were! It's awesome with or without the sauce that comes with it! Great starter to have! Reasonable price at $10. Sharing among group of 4 will be just nice! πŸ‘Œ

Mixed reviews on bliss house but decided to give it a try for a grp gathering. Was quite fortunate service was quick and food taste good too! The tiramisu cake was also nicely presented and not too sweet! Likes on their Facebook page entitles you to a 15% discount too!

The ambience and themed interior was awesome. I felt that the whole garden theme was beautiful. Indeed, 1st impression of the restuarant is good. The food isnt as fantastic as I thought. Overall, the place is really suitable for couples or a group of ladies.^-^

My 1st time at Bliss House, which is really quite the place to hold wedding receptions and anniversaries. Pseudo romance with 'grass', carriages and flowers. (The good thing about #instavideo is u can have a look at the environment too.)

Dining in a fairytale like setting garden above the city having Bacon linguini with desert, what's life without food..

#Somersby Decadent Foie Gras. Pan-seared Foie Gras drizzled with Somersby Apple Cider reduction & lemon butter, served with puff pastry & arugula.

It was okay, but well no returns though. Still the themed restaurant had really good background for group shots! #burpple #blisshousesingapore #seafoodlaksapasta #pepperminterfoodadventure

For $25.90++, food was pretty decent and if you are a light eater, this is the perfect buffet for you - roast meats, sausages, eggs & pasta stations, salads, toasts, different sandwich spreads, assorted cereals, soup, cakes & scones, orange juice, milk, coffee & tea.
On green carpet grass dotted with pots of flowers and interesting garden ornaments, the setup was magical with hanging lights and fairies. Service was superb - free massage, photo-taking, photo-printing, stationery for card-making, every service staff was amicable and eager to make it a surreal dining experience for us. And guess what, I finally get to play on the gleaming white Baby Grand in the open! Beautiful!

Don't miss out on their upcoming Super Dad Fathers' Day Brunch!

Filling as a main. Reasonable priced at $18 for a big serving. Tasty but not too saltish. Though i would be happier to see a pretty egg in the middle of the dish. Overall it didn't disappoint me much without the egg :)
