Finally tried this famous Zi Char (Sin Ho) in Bedok and the Prawn Paste Chicken (Har Cheong Gai) is definitely one of the star dishes!

This never fails to brighten up my Sunday mornings ☀ expect queues of about 15-20 minutes but it's well worth it!

Here's a unique Singaporean hawker dish that's not readily found anywhere else.
With smooth, slippery, slightly chewy rolls of thin rice noodles / chee cheong fun, coated in a silky pink sweet sauce, with white sesame seeds and fragrant sesame oil lending a nutty aroma.
Paired with bouncy cubes of yam / taro cake, earthy savoury in flavour, although these aren't as fragrant as elsewhere.
Choose to add-on pieces of yong tau foo, fish cake stuffed tofu beancurd or stuffed vegetables, with good savoury sweet flavour. Topped with crisp fried beancurd skin for an addictive crunch.
Lives up to the stall name. Yum.
