Authentic fried Hokkien prawn mee can be found at this coffee shop, just opposite AMK Hub.

It seems like the owner already fried a portion on the pot and reheat as you make your order. So my order wasn’t hot enough and get cold soon enough.

But the wok hey still retain for the savoury taste. It has a bit of gravy, making it a bit wetter style.

Taste okay, but heads up: very, very cheap. The cheapest mlxg we've encountered.

Chicken Rice Balls are so rare nowadays in Singapore, so you can imagine my excitement when I chanced upon it recently.

Traditionally Chicken Rice Balls are made by the Hainanese, and are basically Chicken Rice being mounted into a ball. It's selling at 30cents each, with a minimum of 3pcs per order. Chicken Rice Ball sets are also available starting from $3.60. The chicken balls are firm, fragrant and packed with flavours. Chicken wise is quite decent, but not outstanding.

Visit here if you want a taste of traditional chicken rice balls.

A decent plate of fried hokkien prawn mee that will surely satisfy your cravings if you’re in the area. Prawns were fresh & sweet, while the sambal chilli packed a good solid punch.

What hit me first was the hei gor (prawn paste). It was distinctively good, so aromatic. Next was the crispy yu tiao (dough fritters); by the crunch, I could tell that they have been individually toasted. The stall is tucked in the corner, beside the drinks stall.

Husband highly recommend this place for prawn mee so we decided to try since we are walking distance away.

Prawn mee comes in 3 different pricing, $3.50, $5 & $8
Waiting time: 7-10 mins (we came at 11.30am)

Prawns are pretty fresh and some of the prawns is really sweet as they absorb the broth. (But not all)
Prawn noodle is pretty normal to me, but the chili really fragrance and powerpack. Adding the chili brings the prawn noodle to another level. Worth the try if you are some where near, but wont travel far for this.
