When there are queue barriers at a coffee shop stall, u know for sure its a popular.

And you know it's popular when someone else crawls under the belt barrier on the wrong side to cut your queue.

And you know it's popular when there is no tongs left for u when it's your turn to choose your food.

The coffee shop here also hard to get any seats, so crowded.

The Mala Xiang Guo here is really good and it's cheap too. Ingredients were fresh, it was so good, 2 person actually finished this bowl of MXG with 2 additional bowls of rice.

found a cheap and good mala at clementi!!! $15 for 2 of us and fed me rlly rlly well :-) it’s the dry kind of mala so not too much gravy, also medium spicy wasn’t too spicy so prob can go one level higher??? Ingredients are GENEROUS and yummy!!

distinctly more fragrant and stronger spicy kick than our usual medium spicy (中辣), this has proved to be a way more satisfying bowl than i’d imagine (tho we died at the spicy level & i’m definitely gonna order a 小辣 the next time) on the hand, 👦🏻 says it was too nutty for him! oh, & we did find it a little pricey vs other places!

one of the better dry noodles i’ve had. just the noodles alone, it was well-cooked, coated with their sauce combi and a scoop of chilli with a good kick. the pork cutlet - breaded and fried to crisp, was tender, had no nasty oily taste and was a great pairing with the noodles. a simple dish made well.

👦🏻 who’s quite particular with his dry noodles ranked this 2nd in his list sooo… you get it.

Tong Guan Pork Bun ($4.00) Crispy Bun sandwich with juicy and tender pork belly. Wow, this is something that I will come back again.
